Life and death are less than love

Castle of dreams
lie in the heaven
of your eyes
and between your feet
and hair
designed for stars to marvel and stare
lie all the shores
of passion, love and lust.
Retaining blossoms
deep in your heart
where moon and sun
harvest their light
prisms in numberless forms
and infinite colors,
adorn our now
and our hereafter
long after
the links of the universe
have sundered and fallen.
Forever near
you are
even when you are far
nearer than daylight in the eye
nearer than angel’s prayer.
You are the sum of all thoughts
and the idea of you that suffuses me
through and through,
spellbound
happily fettered
yielding to the endless maze
of your ways.
Let us fashion love
out of immortality,
life and death
are less than love.
